Terms of Service
Last updated Jan 12, 2026
Welcome to IndiePost. By accessing or using IndiePost, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the product.
IndiePost is a software service operated by Eric Barron, providing tools for drafting, scheduling, and publishing social media content.
1. Service description
IndiePost lets you draft, schedule, and automatically publish social content to platforms such as TikTok, X (Twitter), YouTube, and LinkedIn. You connect your own social accounts; IndiePost does not claim ownership of your content.
2. Your responsibilities
- Keep your IndiePost account secure and confidential.
- Only schedule and publish content you have the rights to use and that complies with each platform's terms and community guidelines.
- Do not use IndiePost for spam, harassment, or any illegal activity.
3. Connected platforms
When you connect TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, or other platforms, you grant IndiePost permission to act on your behalf within the scopes you approve (for example: creating posts, uploading media, reading basic profile info). You can revoke access at any time in either IndiePost or on the platform itself.
4. Content & scheduling
You are responsible for reviewing and confirming your scheduled posts, time zones, and target platforms. While IndiePost aims to be reliable, we cannot guarantee every post will be delivered on time or successfully due to third-party APIs, rate limits, or outages.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse engineer, misuse, or overload the service, or attempt to bypass any security or rate limiting. We may suspend or terminate access if we detect abusive or harmful behavior.
6. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
IndiePost is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, IndiePost will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including lost posts, missed schedules, or lost revenue.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the revised terms.
8. Contact
